Melva Leilla Monical.

Melva Leilla Monical, daughter of W. H. and Nellie Monical, was born April 4, 1918, departed this life on April 19, 1918, being fifteen days old. Little Melva was never strong and all that loving hands could do could not lengthen the life of this little one who had brightened the home the few short days and God called her spirit home.

She leaves to mourn her loss father, mother, two grandfathers, two grandmothers, two great grandfathers, and three great grandmothers, eight aunts, and eleven uncles, besides a number of cousins and other relatives.

The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, April 21st, conducted by D. A. White, and the remains laid to rest in the Fremont cemetery.

Dearest loved one thou hast left us
And thy loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God that has bereft us
He can all our sorrow heal.

Heaven retaineth now our treasure
Earth the lonely casket keeps,
And the sunbeams love to linger
Where our little darling sleeps.

Card of Thanks.

We wish to thank our neighbors and friends or their help and kindness during the sickness and death of our infant daughter; also for the beautiful floral offerings.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Monical.
