Lucille Maurine Fletcher, daughter of Elbert Ellsworth Eggleston and Edna Maude (Kirby) Eggleston was born March 13, 1931 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life Friday, September 15, 2017 at Clarke County Hospital at 86 years of age.

Lucille received her education in Osceola High School graduating in 1949 and then attended the University of Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Duayne V. Fletcher on July 15, 1955 at the Christian Church parsonage in Osceola and one child Todd Kirby blessed this union.

Lucille worked in various departments with the State of Iowa. Her last position before retirement was a Senior Accountant for the Iowa Finance Authority. She loved keeping up with her grandkids and following their activities. TTT, Research Club and sewing were some other things she enjoyed, especially when she was able to make Halloween costumes for all the grandkids.

Those relatives who preceded Lucille in death were her father, Elbert Ellsworth Eggleston, mother, Edna Maude Eggleston, son, Todd Kirby Fletcher and brother, Donald Wayne Eggleston.

Lucille leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Duayne V. Fletcher of Osceola, IA, grandchildren, Keatyn Maye Rhodes and husband Dallas of Forsythe, MO, Kaleb Dwayne Fletcher and wife Darby of Osceola, IA and Kelsea Morann Hawley and husband Jace of Vail, IA; great-grandchild, Harper Louise Fletcher; sister-in-law, Glayne Adamson of Osceola, IA; nephew, Scott Eggleston of Des Moines, IA; niece, Summer Eggleston of Kailua-Kona, HI and nephew, Bart Adamson of Osceola, IA as well as other relatives and many friends.
