Ruth Leona Marks, the daughter of Frank Bingham and Angeline Black Bingham, was born July 29, 1893 in Texas and passed away December 4, 1963 at the Clarke county hospital. She was 70 years old.
She spent almost her entire life in Clarke county. She received her education in the Murray Schools.

On October 2, 1911 in Liberal, Kans., she was united in marriage to Carl L. Marks. To this union was born one son, Robert Larraine Marks of Kenmare, North Dakota. Her church affiliation was with the Christian church.
Ruth Leona Marks is survived by her husband Carl and son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Frances, grandson, Danny Lee; 2 half-sisters, Grace Loftus of Osceola and Thelma Hollaway of Wirt, Minn., and 2 aunts, Alice Burgus and Mollie Imes both of Murray. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and an adopted daughter, Shirley Ann.

Funeal service was held at the Webster Funeral Home, Monday, Dec. 9, 1963, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Clinton D. Wolf, officiated, and interment was in Maple Hill cemetery.
