Hazel Lenore Chrisman, 87, of Calvin Manor, 4210 Hickman Road, died of a heart ailment Sunday at home. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunn’s Funeral Home. The body has been cremated and burial will be in Green Bay Cemetery in Weldon.

Mrs. Chrisman was born in Weldon lived in Des Moines since 1920. She retired in 1965 as the company nurse at Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co., and she was a lifetime member and past worthy matron of Adelphic Chapter 417 of Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Iowa Methodist Medical Center School of Nursing Alumni Association.

She is survived by a son Charles Lane Arndt of Shreveport, La.; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Adelphic Chapter 417 of Order of the Eastern Star.

Dunn’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.”
