“Mrs. W. P. Adams Dead”

Relatives in the city received word Tuesday evening announcing the death of Mrs. Lulu Johnson Adams, wife of Pearl Adams, at their home in the vicinity of Garden Grove at 7 o’clock that evening.
At the time of this writing arrangements for the funeral had not been completed, but it is presumed that it may be held at the M. P. church in Osceola Thursday. The obituary will be published next week.”

“Lucy E. Adams”

“Lucy E. Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Johnson, was born in Clarke county, Iowa, February 4, 1878, and departed this life February 28, being at the time of her death 50 years and 24 days of age. She was united in marriage to W. P. Adams September 5, 1896. To this union was born five children.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, W. P. Adams, three sons--Herman Adams of Chicago, Illinois, Arthur and Dale of Garden Grove, Iowa and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Wallace of Weldon, Iowa, and Freda L. Adams of Garden Grove, Iowa. Her mother, Mrs. T. A. Johnson; two brothers, Fred and Burl Johnson, of Eugene, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. A. C. Scott of Independence, Kansas; besides other relatives and friends.

The breaved members of the broken family circle have the sympathy of a host of friends.
