Grant Crabb Rites Will Be Thursday – Community Resident For 52 Years;
Was 87 Years Old.

GRANT CRABB, 87, a resident of the Osceola community for the past 52 years, died at his home on South Main Street, Monday, Nov. 2, 1953.

A farmer and service station operator during his active life, Crabb was born in Greene County, Iowa on Sept. 3, 1866.

He was a member of the IOOF and Rebekah Lodges here.

Survivors include his widow, Ida M. Crabb; two sons, Roy and Guy, both of Osceola; one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Moran of Long Beach, California; and other relatives.

Services will be from Webster Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, Nov. 5, at 2 o’clock, with Rev. Azel Smith of Osceola Methodist Church in charge. Osceola IOOF will be in charge of graveside services at Maple Hill Cemetery.
