Obituary -

(The Des Moines Register Des Moines, Iowa May 25, 1993)

WILDA F. PRICKETT, 72, of Indianola died Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, where she had undergone heart surgery. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Overton Funeral Home. Burial will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Prickett, a homemaker, was born in Carlisle and lived in Indianola most of her life. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Surviving are five sons, Tom of New Brighton, Minn., and Leland, Royce, Rodney and Laverne, all of Indianola; a daughter, Jeanie Stewart of Des Moines; a brother, Robert Chaplin of Palmyra; a sister, Edith Groves of Indianola; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the 8 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Winifred Law Opportunity Center.
