Josiah and Eliza Austin Brown are listed as living in Chickasaw Co in 1860 with their son Alvin, age 9.

they had moved to Stephenson Co Illinois by the 1870 census. And then I lose track of them. some sources say they returned to Iowa where their son, Alvin Riley born 1851 in New York, married Lillian Sanborn, born 1861 in Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Jeremiah and Lavina Forbush Sanborn.

Josiah W. Brown was born approx. 1825 in Massachuttus and his wife, Eliza Austin Brown was born approx. 1828 in Vermont.

Is there any record of them returning to Chickasaw county after 1870?
