I am married to a great-grandson of Gustavus Harris Griffin. I had been told he was from out east. I just found a record tonight that my husband's great-grandfather was born in Massachusetts. My husband's grandfather was Edward Gilman Griffin and he is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Nashua, Iowa. Please let me know what additional information you might want. Thank you for sharing that your great-grandfather and my husband's great-grandfather were brothers and were from the Boston area.
