My great, great grandmother was Mabel Loye. She was married to a James Loye in 1905. On the application, she stated she was a widow.

So I looked up Mabel Carey to see who she married before. There is only one mention on a list of marriages in 1900. It says Howard Shannon married Mabel Carey. I cannot find much more information about him.

There is one mention of a Howard Shannon passing away at the age of 24 in the Nashua Reporter. This is also on my public family tree on Ancestry.com However, it was fishy because it did not say that he left behind a child or wife?

How do I get a copy of their marriage application and/certificate? I know for sure they lived in Nashua and surrounding areas. Thank you.
