Hello, I think my information will be of help. Henry(father of my Great Aunt Anna) died in Iowa,(he sold the "von"Kathner to pay for the family's immigration from Germany. Willamina Pankonin(my GGrandmother)with son Wilhelm(Bill) Kathner,daughters Olga and Minna b.17Oct1905)(my grandmother)also with new husband Henry Schultz moved to Brownsville Texas..then later, to Santa Monica. Olga had 2 sons..Oliver Buell and Rodney Bull(both now living in Calif.)and Minna married Addison "Lysle" Smashey and resided in Santa Monica, Ca. with Jaqueline Marie (Smashey)Edwards (my mother)b.17Feb1930. Grandmother Minna died 17Feb1971 and Grandpa Lysle b.27Mar1903 d.6July1957...Anna Ohm was a remarkable woman,beloved by all...There was another sister of Anna's..named Louise who lived in Chicago..also Oliver says that he knows of another daughter, Marie (Kathner) Foote..who was interned in WWII for her verbal support of Germany and was never seen again.. regards, Sue
