Dropped Dead.

Dee Hartson, a brother of J. D. Hartson, formerly of Plainfield, and who for several years worked for H. M. Peterson, dropped dead at this home in Charles City Sunday, the cause of his death being appoplexy.

It is thought that his death was hastened by over exercise. He had been sawing wood for the house and after sawing for a while he sat down on the sawbuck to rest, and in a few minutes dropped over dead. A neighbor's boy was watching him and gave the alarm. His wife and three small children were visiting in Mason City at the time he died. He had been under the doctor's care for some time for heart trouble.

Deceased was 38 years old and had been employed for some time by the Frudden Lumber Co., of that city.
