Mrs. Thomas Britt Died Sunday at St. Jos. Hospital
funeral Wednesday at Lawler; Eleven Children Survive

LAWLER: Mrs. Thomas Britt 64, died Sunday, May 24, in St Joseph's hospital where she had been hospitalized since May 20, following surgery. Death was attributed to carcinoma.

The body was taken to the Larkin Chapel at Lawler, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James F. Delay officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Rosa Wulf Britt, daughter of Jacob and Julianna Wulf was born Oct. 8, 1888, at Elwood. She attended the schools there, and on February 6, 1907, was married to Thomas Britt in Mt. Carmel church at Lawler. They resided in Clinton county until 1912 when they moved to a farm near Lawler.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are six daughters Mrs. Will (Bernadette) Cutsforth, Mrs. Wallace (Madonna) Burvee and Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Howe of Waterloo, Mrs. Greg (Lorraine) Pitts of New Hampton, Mrs. Joe (Ruby) Kisley of Norfolk, Neb and Mrs. Frank (Stasia) Junko of Lawler; five sons, Gerald of Waterloo, Oliver of Lawler, Jerome of Charles City, Sylvester of Ionia and Raymond of Fredericksburg, four brothers, Ben Wulf, DeWitt and William and Emil Wulf of Grand Mound, Ed Wulf of Gooselake and a number of grandchildren.
