The remains of Harry Stevens of Lawler, this state, were brought here for burial Friday. Deceased was forty years of age and an old time resident of Lansing, removing from here to Postville and from there to Lawler, which had been his home for many years and where he was engaged in the wagon making and repair business.

He had been ailing over a year and spent a good part of last winter at the home of his mother, Mrs. Stauffacker, in this city, in the vain hope that the change might do him good. A wife and four little girls survive him. The funeral took place Sunday and was largely attended. Rev. Havermale of the M.E. church officiated and interment took place in Oak Hill.
