ROEHRICH, BOUSKA, STUBE, STOLFUS, CAMPBELL, DOWD

Carl William Roehrich, age 85, died Monday evening at the Health Care Manor in New Hampton.

Funeral services will be at 11am Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Bernard Oebser officiating. Music will be by Rich Leichtman singing "In The Garden" and "Just a Closer Walk With Jesus", accompanied by Edith Kolthoff as organist. Casket bearers will be Lowell Stolfus, Dick Stolfus, Earl Katz, William Dowd, Bob Letkey and Don Dowd. Burial will be in New Hampton cemetery.

Carl was born March 17, 1909, at Jacksonville corners, the son of Fred and Ida (Bouska) Roehrich. He attended area schools and went to work for the Chicago Great Western Railroad at the age of 16, retiring after 44 years of service.

On May 28, 1938 he was united in marriage to Helen Stube. They lived in Lawler all their married years. Carl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, preceding him in death were 6 brothers, Albert, Fred, Otto, Julius, Alfred and William, five sisters, Anna Stolfus, Marie Campbell, Mildred Dowd and two in infancy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday at Larkin-Martin Funeral Home in Lawler.
