Mrs. A.N. Peterson died at her home, in the suburbs of this city, on Saturday morning at 6:40 o’clock after suffering for many months with heart trouble, which terminated in dropsy. Peterson who survives her. She was the mother of two children, Mrs. Ruth LaShelle of Rockford, Ill, and Henry Osborn of Shannon, Ill, who mourn her death. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Don Osborn and Miss Pearl LaShelle.

The deceased was well known in this community, although she was a woman who remained closely at home, devoting herself to her household duties. She was a fond mother and when sickness befell her, her daughter, Mrs. LaShelle, was called to her bedside, and she cared for her day and night, until the sufferer was at rest. Her son and granddaughter were also with her during her final hours on earth, but the latter did not arrive until after his mother had lost consciousness. The funeral was held at the residence at 10 A.M. Monday, and the remains were laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
