The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s church on Saturday at 10 o’clock.

The life of this good man was ennobled by the doing of his duty in every day of it, not with ostentation, but silently, and with steadfast assurance that He who orders all our lives would so order his for the best. Through called in the prime of life when it seemed so fitting that he should remain with us, yet the end found him ready as a true Christian to meet the change. On all sides are heard expressions of the deepest regret that this good man will be seen no more.

May he rest in peace
