The New Hampton Tribune contains an account of the deaths last week of Mr. and Mrs. Mark H. Blankenheim, the latter a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Montague, formerly of Riceville but now located at Winner, S. D., and a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cannon, of Cresco. Mr. Blankenheim died on Thursday, the 12th and his wife on the Sunday following both victims of influenza-pneumonia. They leave two little daughters, who by request of the dead mother will make their home with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Montague.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Julia who was born Nov. 29, 1893 and died Feb. 15, 1920. She is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Hampton, IA.
