Word was received Tuesday of the death of Ole Jacobson at Waterloo hospital from the flu. Mrs. Jacobson with three sons, also Mrs. Derr and Clara Jacobson with little neice{sic} Cora Richards left Wednesday to attend the funeral which was held at New Hampton Thursday. May God comfort the sorrowing ones in their sad bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 28, 1884 and died Jan. 27, 1920. He is buried in Crane Creek Lutheran Cemetery in Chickasaw County.
