Jesse (Andy) Shufelt Found Dead in Home at Chas. City.
The following is reprinted from the Charles City Daily Press:
Jesse (Andy) Shufelt, ag 61, was found dead in his home at 1217 Riverside Drive Thursday morning about ten o’clock by neighbors, who investigated after not having seen him since four o’clock Wednesday afternoon. They found him lying on his bed with his clothes on.
The deceased was a painter by trade and was a bachelor. He is survived by five brothers: Cecil of this city, Bert and Vern of Nashua, Keith and Ray of Waterloo, and one sister, Mrs. Al Dean of Minneapolis.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery at Nashua.Source Unknown – probably local newspaper
