Mrs. Wm. R. Phillips Dead.
Mrs. Clara Robinson received a letter yesterday noon announcing the death of her mother, Mrs. Wm. R. Phillips on Feb. 25th, at Roswell, N. Mex.
Deceased’s maiden name was Elizabeth H. Lynes and she was born April 6, 1826. She was married May 14, 1846, to W. R. Phillips and to this union were born five children, viz: Wm. L. Phillips, whereabouts unknown, Chas. W. and Celia, of Roswell, N. Mex., Mrs. Alice A. Knapp, of Scenic, S. D., and Mrs. Clara A. Robinson of Nashua. With her husband deceased came to Nashua, about 50 yaars ago, when they moved to Tennessee. Where they lived 12 years. Death was due to a general breaking down of the system from old age. She was a good wife and mother and a woman loved and respected by all who knew her true character.
The funeral was held Sunday and burial was in the cemetery at Roswell.
