Two Suicides.
Yesterday Jennie Wright, a bright, intelligent young lady, residing four miles east of town with her parents, took poison, from the effects of which she expired last evening about 9:30. These are both sad cases, especially the last. No sufficient reason can be divined for the rash act. A note left by the deceased stated that she was “tired of life.” When discovered, at her request, remedies were administered for her relief, but without avail.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Jan 20, 1878 and died Sept. 4, 1895. She is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
