Child Scalded to Death.
New Hampton Gazette —A shocking accident occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murray, two miles east of Lawler, on Wednesday of last week, which resulted in the death of their little two year old son. Mrs. Murray had just finished washing some clothing and had set a large pan of boiling water on the floor preparatory to moping. She supposed the little boy was in an adjoining room, but he had come in unnoticed and stood close behind his mother. She turned about and in doing so pushed the baby over into the water. Before he could be helped out he was so badly burned that death ensued in a few hours.
