Suicide at New Hampton.
Courier:—Wednesday about noon this community was startled by the report that a woman living in the north part of town had committed suicide. Officers Schnurr and Johnson immediately went to the place and found the report true. Mrs. Fanny Muscovitz, a Hebrew woman, had gone into the loft of the barn on the premises where she lives and placing a chair and bundle of rags on it under the beam had stood upon this and tied the end of a skate or shawl strap to the beam and adjusting a noose on the other end had placed it around her neck and kicking away the chair and rags had ended her life. Deceased was about thirty-two years of age and leaves two little girls aged about seven and four years respectively. She had been in the asylum some time ago in Illinois we understand and for some time it has been known to a few that she was not wholly right in mind.
