A Fatal Hunting Accident.
New Hampton Tribune.—A shocking accident occurred Sunday afternoon in Dayton township, when Frank Beising was almost instantly killed by the accidental discharge of a shot gun while out hunting rabbits with his two older brothers, John and Henry.
Sometime about two o’clock in the afternoon the three brothers left home to spend a few hours hunting rabbits. John and Henry were beating the bushes and driving the game out, Frank carried the gun, cocked and ready to shoot. He started to run a few steps when his foot caught on a root and he was thrown to the ground. As he fell the gun was thrown so that when it discharged the shot struck him, passing into his neck a little below and back of his right ear and out above the right eye. His brothers ran quickly to his side and tried to rouse him up, but with only a few words as a parting message to his family he died within less than an hour after the terrible accident and in less than two hours after he had gone from the home in the strength and vigor of young manhood.
