DIED - At his home in Butte, Mont., Thursday, Aug. 1, 1901, Jas. Mullen, aged 73 years.

Deceased wns for years a resident of this county, about three years ago he went to Butte, Mont., where he has since resided.

He is survived by two children, a son Andrew and Miss Nell who with their father resided in Butte.

The remains accompanied by his daughter arrived here Sunday morning and were taken to St. Joseph's church where funeral service was held at eight o'clock and a large concourse of old friends followed the remains to the Catholic cemetery where interment was made, his wife having been buried there several years ago. The many friends of the deceased in this county sympathize with the bereaved son and daughter.
