Last Wednesday evening the Death Angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Davis and took therefrom the beloved mother. Following is the obituary.

Carrie Jensen was born near Christina, Norway, July 30, 1832, and departed this life January 9, 1901, thus being in her 68th your. She was married to Eric Oleson Nov. 11, 1861, and in 1869 they came to America. For 36 years Mr and Mrs. Oleson walked together through the journey of life sharing each others burdens and joys. Many remembered last Friday of a similar gathering four years ago next August when they met to pay their last respects to Mr. Oleson. They were blessed with six children, five of whom are living and were present at their mother's funeral. They are Carl Olson of Beaumont, Texas, John Oleson of LeRoy, Minn., Oscar Oleson of Calmar, Mrs. Ed Herwig of Mason City and Mrs. Frank Davis of Ionia. Mrs. Oleson was of the Lutheran faith in Norway but on corning to this country she and her husband joined the Congregational church. She was very active in church work until within the past three years when her health began to fail, but her interest in the church and love for her Bible did not change. She was a loving and indulgent mother and was recognized as a good wife and friend.
