Obituary for Judy Elizabeth (Huffman) Gallmeyer

March 1, 1933 - October 11, 2016

Judy Elizabeth (Huffman) Gallmeyer age 83 of Nashua died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at United Methodist Church in Nashua with Rev. John Tunnicliff presiding. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Friends may greet the family from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home -- Olson Chapel in Nashua. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Judy Elizabeth Gallmeyer was born March 1, 1933 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of David and Bertha (Adams) Dotz. She graduated from high school and then preceded to work many different jobs. Some of which included Hydrotile in Nashua, Hyvee in Charles City, Caterpillar in Illinois and most recently Kwik-Star in Nashua.

Judy loved her grandchildren and was a people person. She enjoyed watching them and spending as much time with them as she could. You could often catch Judy watching T.V.. It may often of been a NASCAR race, CSI, Dancing With The Stars or horse racing. Nature also meant a lot to Judy. She loved squirrels, rabbits, cats and birds. She always had a smile on her face.

Judy is survived by one son; two daughters; one grandson; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harvey Huffman and one brother.
