Friends may greet the family 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton.

Kameron Jay Bill was born March 31, 1994, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Kevin Bill and Lisa (Foster) Pool. He attended St. Josephs Catholic School prior to the New Hampton Elementary and Middle School. Kam also attended the New Hampton High School, apart from his sophomore year, which was spent at Crestwood High. He was a graduate of the NHHS Class of 2012. Following high school he enrolled at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, before working for Tony’s Plumbing, where he simultaneously attended night classes.

Kam will always be remembered for his tremendous smile. He was always smiling and enjoyed making other people happy and getting them to laugh. Along with his contagious smile was his big heart. He unfailingly cared for others, whatever their needs may be. Kam’s brothers and sister held a special place in his heart.

After making it through difficulties of his own, Kam turned his heartfelt compassion to helping others who were also struggling. He started a support group at the University of Northern Iowa for college students who were dealing with issues such as addiction. Kam also worked with young adults at the North Iowa Juvenile Detention Center who found themselves in similar situations. That is who Kam was, a helping hand to anybody who needed it.

Along with helping other people, Kam enjoyed building different items out of wood, hunting, helping his dad on the farm and especially riding his Harley. He took great pride in his Harley.

Kameron is survived by his mother, Lisa (Lee) Pool of New Hampton, Iowa; his father, Kevin (Melissa) Bill of Lime Springs, Iowa; two brothers, Kaleb Bill of Camp Penelton, CA and Collin Kubat of Lime Springs, Iowa; one sister, Isabel Pool of New Hampton, Iowa; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Jean Foster of Riceville, IA; his paternal grandparents, Kenny and Diane Bill of LeRoy, MN; step grandparents, Julie Kahl of Grand Medow, MN, Randy (Marsha) Kahl of Rochester, MN, Leo and Mary Pool of Worthington, MN; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Tyler Tank on July 2, 2006.
