FRED LUCKRITZ

Alta Vista, Iowa, May 7, -

Funeral services for Fred Luckritz, former resident at the William Tyler home at 1:30 to the church. Interment was in Union Cemetery.

Services were held in the Lutheran church here Sunday afternoon, with Rev. A. F. Karsten in charge. Six ex-servicemen, four of whom enlisted with Mr. Luckritz in the World War, were pallbearers: Walter Hunter, Cascade; Alvin Wismer, Frank Winn, Willis Kords, Harvey Vick and Herman Schanfeld.

Mr. Luckritz was born in Graundanz, Germany, May 20, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Luckritz. He came to this community in his youth. He was gassed during the war and did not fully recover. He was married Oct. 17, 1924, to Miss Myrtle Haus of Wisconsin. He died last Thursday at the age of 42 years and 11 months.

Surviving are his wife, a brother, Charles, and three sisters; Mesdames, Emma Schanfeld and William Tyler, and Miss Hulda all of Alta Vista.
