Mrs. Amanda Freebury, Aged 72, Dies Here Monday Night

Mrs. Amanda Freebury, aged 72 years, died at her home in Nashua at 11 p.m. Monday. She was born in Fillmore county, Minnesota, May 16, 1861 and came with her parents to Chickasaw county when six years of age, having lived most of her life in this community. On Oct. 30, 1881 at Ionia, Iowa,she was married to Fred E. Freebury, and to this union three children were born, all surviving. They are John W., of Chickasaw; Elmer E., of Nashua, and Mrs. Lizzie Opal Sabin of Tampa. Fla. She is also survived by one brother, Elwood Tharp, of Strickler, Ark., and one sister, Mrs. Ella Riley, of Lake View, Calif.

At the time of going to press funeral arrangements had not been made.
