NASHUA - Patricia A. Wait, 69, of Nashua, died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at the Waverly Health Center, Waverly, of cancer.

She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Iowa City, daughter of George L. and Frances Shelter Alton. She married Richard Wait in Martensville, Ind., and they later divorced.

Ms. Wait attended school in Waterloo and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Amy) of Nashua; six grandchildren; a brother, George Alton of Nashua; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Mahan of Jerico.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Joanne Hurlbut and Sharon Mahan.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Nashua. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
