Mrs. F. W. Swale
of Fredericksburg
Dies at Age of 74

Fredericksburg, Ia.— Mrs. F. W. Swale, 74, died at her home here Wednesday night after two years' illness from carcinoma. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at the residence here with Rev, Carl J. Spieker, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating.

She was born Aug. 5, 1860, at Marengo, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Farnum. Her marriage to F. W. Swale took place Dec. 7, 1881, and they lived on a farm near here until 1923.

Survivors are a son and a daughter, Clyde J. Swale, Bemldjl, Minn.. and Mrs. Gertrude Hicks, Fredericksburg; three granddaughters, one grandson, two great-grandchildren, a. brother and two sisters.
