NEW HAMPTON - Lawrence Edward Eiler, 94, of New Hampton, died Monday, April 25, 2005, at the New Hampton Care Center.

He was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Sibley, son of John H. and Elvina Kruse Eiler. He married Elinor Joachim on Jan. 24, 1950, in New Hampton. She died July 1, 1990.

Mr. Eiler worked on the railroad; was a carpenter, electrician and plumber; and all the while farmed. He also delivered parts for his son at A&K Carquest, New Hampton.

Survivors include a son, Marv (Jan) of New Hampton; a daughter, Lori Lee (Duane) Bouska of St. Olaf; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by three sisters, Vera Porter, Vi Woodford and LaRayne Brandt; and a brother, Leonard.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, with inurnment later in New Hampton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
