Obituary for Glen T. Phelps Jr.--

Glen T. Phelps Jr. age 52 of Waterloo, formerly of Nashua died Friday morning, January 6, 2012, at the Country View Care Facility in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Nashua with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua with Jason Zander, Jim Zander, Jr., Stacey Appel, Mike Keeran, Matt Evenson, Charlie McNeill, Michael McNeill, Jeff Broadaway, Casey Morris and Brandon Mitchell serving as pallbearers.

Glen Thomas Phelps Jr. was born March 4, 1959, in Waverly, Iowa, the only son of Glen and Dorothy (Walsh) Phelps, Sr. Glen was handicapped nearly all his life and was cared for by his parents until the later years when he became a resident of Country View Care Facility near Waterloo.

Survivors include three sisters, Judy (Jim) Zander of Charles City, Patty (Larry) Keeran of Waverly, Nancy (Dennis) White of St. James, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; two aunts, Doris Walsh of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Kay (Lenos) Connor of Nashua; three uncles, Larry J. (Sharon) Walsh of Mapleton, Minnesota, Harry McKenzie of Aurora, CO, Ray Phelps of Waverly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
