Charles City, Iowa — Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church, Nashua, for George Michael Dietz, 75, who died Thursday at a Charles City hospital: Rev. James B. Bird will officiate; burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Born in Bremer County December 31, 1874, the son of John and Catharine Zwanziger Dietz, he married Edith Masters October 23, 1901.

Survived by his wife and eight sons and daughters, Alvin, Nashua: Mrs. Effie Conklin, Plainfield; Mrs. Bessie Runyon, Nashua; Mrs. Martha Wagner, Cedar Falls; Charles, Ionia; Mrs. Milidred Caswell. Plainfield; Clarence, Waverly, and Edith, at home; 30 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. H. J. Barber, Ionia.

Mr. Dietz attended rural schools in Bremer County.
