Nashua, la.—Mrs. Fred O. Thompson, gold star mother who made the pilgrimage to Meuse-Argonne Cemetery in 1930, died at her home here Friday at 5:25 p. m. as result of anemia. She had been In failing health for years and made the trip to her son's burial place in France while an invalid.

The funeral will be Monday with services at 1:30 'p. m. at Nashua Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. G. C. Lusted will officiate.

Emily Coffmar Thompson, was born June 5, 1867, in Richland County, Wisconsin, and moved to Bremer County with her parents when two years old. She had since resided in Bremer and Chickasaw Counties.

Her marriage to Fred O. Thompson took place March 10, 1885, at Waverly.

He survives, with two sons. L. Ora, Los Angeles, Cal., Cal C.. Waterloo.

Two sons preceded her in death, Sam W. in October, 1924, and Robert A., who was killed in action Oct. 9, 1918. A sister, Mrs. C. A. McKenzie, Osage, also survives.
