Obituary for Norman Larson--

Norman Larson age 75 of West Union, formerly of Nashua, died Friday evening, October 18, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union.

Friends may greet the family 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where there will be a 7:00 p.m. scripture service led by Pastor Ronnie Koch, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Family interment will be held at the Riverton Cemetery, rural Nashua.

Norman Duane Larson was born January 6, 1938, in Waterville, Iowa, the son of Ingvold and Clara C. (Goeke) Larson. He received his education in rural country school near Waterville. On February 6, 1981, in Brownsville, Minnesota, he married Arlene Olafson. Norman was a 'jack-of-all-trades', having the ability to make and fix everything. He will be remembered by his sons for the great advise he gave them. He enjoyed time with his family, his dogs and working on cars. He spent many years working for the Marrow Salvage Co. in Rushford, Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene; four sons, Rick Larson, Jeremy Larson, both of West Union, Scott (Bridget) Adam of Calmar, Iowa, Duane (Beth) Adam of Waukon, Iowa; one daughter, Pam Larson of Waukon; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Larson of Waukon, Larry (Joanne) Larson of Harpers Ferry, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Virgil Larson and one sister, Dolly Jurgeson.
