Last rites for Carl Adam Reihle, age 86, of New Hampton, Iowa,were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Reverend Irwin Matt officiating. Larkin & Martin Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements with interment in Calvary Cemetery in New Hampton. Pallbearers were Russell Whiteman, Clarence Haugh, Louis Geerts, Ray Panoch, Orville Ball, all of New Hampton and Donald Haugh of Charles City, Iowa. Relatives and friends from out of town attending the services came from Waterloo, Marion, Postville, and Elgin, Iowa.

Carl Adam Reihle was born June 12, 1893 in Spillville, Iowa to Joseph and Catherine (Held) Reihle. On November 8, 1917 Carl married Clara Marie Franck of Monona, Iowa who preceded him in death on April 23, 1954. They did not have any children. Carl had been a section foreman with Chicago Northwestern Railroad and was a longtime member of St.Joseph's Church.

Carl Adam Reihle died August 2, 1979 at the Health Care Manor in New Hampton, Iowa. In addition to his wife, Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, Elmer Reihle and Aloyius Reihle, and one sister, Louise.

Carl is survived by one brother, Clem Reihle of New Hampton, Iowa, and nieces and nephews.
