Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

OBITUARY:

Funeral services are tentatively set for Tuesday at the O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home for Marshall L. Leaman, 83, of 404 Allen St., who died Thursday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of complications incident to advanced age.

He was born on October 5, 1876, in Nashua, Iowa, the son of James and Cordelia Goodwin Leaman.

He married Rose McClain on March 19, 1903. She died in 1930. He married Blanche Huffman on April 8, 1935.

Mr. Leaman farmed until he retired in 1930. He was a resident of Waterloo for the past 20 years. He was a member of the United Brethren Church of Westgate, Iowa.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Faust, Rayyville, LA; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Mrs. Carl Sinerson, Nashua, and Mrs. Irene Clow, 1307 Beaver St.; two step-sons, Louis Huffman, 1822 W. 2nd St., and Levi Huffman, 619 Pine St.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
