Hazel Jones, 86, Long Ill, Dies

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Congregational church for Mrs. Hazel E. Jones, 86, who died Sunday at the Charles City hospital. She had been in and out of the hospital in recent weeks.

The Rev. John W. Christy officiated. Music was by Mrs. Lois DePuew, organist, and Mrs. John Christy, vocalist.

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Bryan Conley and Mrs. Clarence Greenlee. Casket bearers were Richard Jones, Cameron Powers, Lelon Westervelt, Scot Harvey, Steven Usher and Ronald Litterer.

She was preceded many years ago by her husband.

Survivors include a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Powers, both of Nashua; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
