RITES HELD FOR MRS. E. WARNER
FORMER RESIDENT OF CHARLES CITY AND NORA SPRINGS BURIED AT BASSETTNora Springs, Nov. 3 – Mrs. Ella Warner, 78, former resident of Nora Springs who died Friday at Marshalltown was buried Monday afternoon at Bassett, where funeral services were held. Her husband, who died 22 years ago, was a Civil War Veteran.
Mrs. Warner died at the Soldiers Home, where she had been only a week. She was an invalid for several years and it is thought heart disease caused her death.She was born in Rutland, Vermont, in 1852 and had lived in Bassett and Charles City, coming to Nora Springs about 16 years ago.
She leaves one daughter, Miss Effie Warner, at home, one stepdaughter Mrs. Hannah Young, Bassett and a brother, George Mower, at home.

Ella Mower was born in 1852 in Vermont, the daughter of Nathan and Harriett Mower . according to the 1870 US Census:
She married James M Warner. She was his 2nd wife. His first wife Asenith (Hunt) Warner died in 1881.
She was buried in Mount Carroll Cemetery, Bassett, Chickasaw Co., Iowa
