Young Couple Wed At Lawler Tuesday

Miss Stella Cooney and Mr. Chas. Peters United In Marriage by Fr. Ryan.

The marriage of Miss Stella Cooney of Lawler and Mrs. Charles Peters of Dayton township was solemnized at Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Lawler yesterday morning at half-past 7 o'clock by the Rev. Fr. Ryan, pastor of the church.

The bride wore a charming gown of white messaline and carried roses.
She was attended by Miss Reta Dougherty of Dougherty, Iowa, whose gown was of the same material as the bride's. Mr Arthur Schnurr of New Hampton was best man.
The wedding reception was at the bride's home, where a large company participated.

The couple left over the Great Western Tuesday night to pass their honeymoon in Chicago and Dubuque.

They will be at home on the Peters home farm, which is under the management of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cooney and is one of the most popular of the young ladies of Lawler. She has a host of sincere friends who will wish her every happiness.
Mr. Peters is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Peters, Sr., and has grown to fine young manhood among us. He is of sterling character and worthy of the charming bride he has won.
