New Hampton Girl Died After Crash

NEW HAMPTON, Iowa (UPI) — Mary Lou Braham, 16, New Hampton, died today of injuries suffered Thursday night when the car in which she was riding skidded on a curve and slammed into a culvert.

Miss Brahem, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Brehem, was riding in a car driven by Kathleen Caulfield, 16, New Hampton.

The car skidded on wet sand on a street in New Hampton and hit the culvert on Miss Brahem’s side of the car.

Miss Caulfield was reported in fairly good condition at a local hospital.
