Chickasaw County Times, Wednesday, Apr 28, 1875, Lawler, IA, Page: 5

Mr. Narcis Camlin of Phoenixville, Pa., has purchased James Kegan’s farm of 180 acres, one and a half miles south of town, price $5,100 cash Iowa. We hope Mr. Kegan will reconsider the determination to go to Canada, and purchase another farm near this vicinity. Mr. Camlin is a man of considerable means, and will erect this summer a large house and barn. He says that there are a dozen families, friends of his and having means that will leave Phoenixville to escape the turbulent times occasioned by the iron and coal strikers, and return with him. These are the kinds of people we want to improve our fertile soil.
