Robert J. Keith, 34, of Cherokee died May 1st at his residence in the Grand Apartments in Cherokee.

Graveside services will be held today at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee.

He was born on November 16, 1958, at San Pedro, Calif. To Richard and Patricia Gillespie Keith. He had served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He had been a resident of the Cherokee area most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfather and one niece.

He is survived by his former wife, Diane Keith, Algona; one daughter Jennifer Keith, Algona; mother and stepfather Patricia Keith-Williams and Ray Williams, Cherokee; father and step-mother, Richard and Barbara Keith, Cherokee; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Mulcahey, Burlington; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Rose O’Bannon, Rio Linda, Calif.; two sisters, Deborah Medick and her husband Harold, Cleghorn; and Lori Hankins, Wichita, Kan.; two nieces and two nephews.
