Dennis D. Ekren, 58, of Algona died Thursday, Sept 27, at the Algona Good Samaritan Home.
The body has been donated to science. There will be no services.
Dennis was born on Aug 10, 1943 in Logan, Ia., the son of Selmer and Verda Jackson Ekren.
He was a graduate of Cherokee High School in 1961. He married Janet Young on May 3, 1963. Dennis worked at the V.F.W. in Estherville and later at the Eastland Park Homes in Algona until the time of his illness.
He is survived by three daughters, Dawn Titus of Wallingford, Ia., Denis Ehrig of Estherville, and Dina Manz of Ayrshire, Ia.; a son, Douglas Ekren of Killeen, Texas; a sister, Sue Ritts of Washta; and 11 grandchildren.
