Death of Mr.Adam Thomson.

This lamentable event occurred on Saturday morning, 19th instant, after an illness of a few days duration, at his home in Rock township. The funeral services were conducted on Sunday by the Rev. J. MacAllister, pastor of the Presbyteran church, of which Mr. Thomson was a very highly esteemed member. The funeral was he most largely attended of any ever held in this county, the procession being over a mile in length, showing the esteem in which the deceased was held. A synopsis of the funeral sermon and biography will appear in these columns next week, having been received too late for this issue. The deceased was 67 years old.
