George Akers
George Akers, 44, a former Aurelia
resident, died Sunday, Feb.
10 of a heart attack in his home
in Bremerton, Wash , where he has
lived for the past three years.
Survivors are his wife, Fern,
five daughters, Donna, Gloria,
Margaret, Doris Ann and Mary
Ann, all at home; his father Webster
Akers of Larrabee One sister,
Miss Margaret Akers of Los
Angeles and one brother, Glenn
Akers of Missoula, Mont., also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday,
Feb. 16 at 2 p. m. from
Boothby Funeral Home Rev. Victor
Schuldt is to officiate. Burial
will be in Afton Cemetery.
The body will arrive in Cherokee
Saturday morning.
