William F. Jones

William F. Jones, 78, passed Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the nursing home of Mrs. Jessie Aman. Jones, a pioneer of Cherokee county, work for the Illinois Central Railroad as a carpenter until his retirement.

He is survived by the following nieces and nephews, Mrs. Ralph Dagger, Charles Jones, Elmer Jones, and Mrs. Chester Coziah, of Mason City, also other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p. m. from the Boothby Funeral Home, the Rev. J.E. Feller officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
